Are you an experienced Embedded Developer with a strong passion for automotive communication and technical expertise? We are currently seeking a consultant for an exciting assignment where you will be a vital part of a cross-functional team working with CAN, LIN, and Ethernet in an automotive environment. The assignment is based in Gothenburg and requires on-site work.

About the assignment

As an Embedded Developer, you will be involved in the entire development cycle for embedded systems, from specification and implementation to verification and maintenance. You will work closely with an agile team of developers and system specialists, contributing your expertise in communication protocols and tools, and having the opportunity to influence technical decisions.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain configurations and scripts using Vector DaVinci Configurator
• Implement and optimize communication protocols for Ethernet and CAN
• Create and improve test scripts for embedded automotive systems
• Participate in the entire development cycle from design to implementation and verification

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Solid experience in C programming
• Experience working with Vector DaVinci Configurator
• Strong understanding of automotive protocols such as CAN-FD, LIN, and Ethernet
• Good knowledge of AUTOSAR and ISO26262 standards
• Experience with version control using Git
• Experience in the automotive industry and its specific requirements
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken

Preferred qualifications

It is advantageous if you have experience with:

• SOME/IP, E2E protection, encryption, and XCP
• Groovy scripts and tools such as Vector CANalyzer and Lauterbach
• Test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework
• Working with CI/CD environments, especially Jenkins
• Knowledge of Jira and experience with agile methods
• Basic understanding of electronics
